In November 2024, the international standard "Requirements for Contactless Delivery of Cold Chain Logistics" jointly formulated by China and multiple countries was released. This standard specifies the requirements that cold chain logistics service providers must meet during the process of delivering goods from distribution centers to recipients through contactless delivery, including requirements for service providers, facilities, equipment, and operational processes involved in the contactless delivery process of cold chain logistics, as well as requirements for handling abnormal situations. China took the lead in proposing an international standard for contactless distribution of cold chain logistics in the International Organization for Standardization Cold Chain Logistics Technical Committee. It collaborated with experts from countries such as Japan, France, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Germany to develop this international standard, which was successfully released.
